2020: new year, new season, new bikes!
We are proud to present the latest bikes we have bought, which will be used for our bike&barge tours on the IRIS. A new brand GIANT (new for us), and the latest of high-level solutions with low maintenance for us and very easy to use for you. This mid-end touring bike is suitable for both flat and hilly terrain, thanks to the light aluminium frame (Aluxx). With the hydraulic disc brakes, there is a lot of braking power, even with a splash of rain. The big advantage of the Allure CS is the belt drive: it does its gearing-up-or-down job quietly and is durable and low in maintenance. Reflective details ensure safety and the wide tires bring comfort. With the help of the MIK rear carrier, essential items can easily go along the way.
We did stick to the blue colour, and will also keep on using some of our former bikes, bought only two years ago. Only if we run out of the new ones, if sizes can’t be met with the new ones! So anticipate having a lovely ride on our easy-going bikes. You still need to pedal though 😉
